Imagine you’re at a party. A guy offers you a drink. You say no. He says “Come on, one drink!” You say “no thanks.” Later, he brings you a soda. “I know you said you didn’t want a drink, but I was getting one for myself and you looked thirsty.” For you to refuse at this point makes you the asshole. He’s just being nice, right? Predators use the social contract and our own good hearts and fear of being rude against us. If you drink the drink, you’re teaching him that it just takes a little persistence on his part to overcome your “no.” If you say “Really, I appreciate it, but no thanks” and put the drink down and walk away from it, you’re the one who looks rude in that moment. But the fact is, you didn’t ask for the drink and you don’t want the drink and you don’t have to drink it just to make some guy feel validated.

Women, let me tell you something that your friends and many guys will not. Your tattoos are ugly. We do not like them. We respect you less for them. We think you’re a pawn without a sense of solida…This is why we need feminism. What a misogynistic and clearly poorly educated moron! There is so much wrong with this I don’t even know where to begin. Having tattoos does not dictate the kind of person you are, nor does it define your worth.
First of all this idiot is claiming that HIS opinion, is the opinion of every male in every society, which is beyond absurd. Tattoos, in many cultures, symbolize not only beauty, but spirituality. So that trumps his reasoning of “tattoos are symbols of prostitutes.” Tattoos have been used for thousands of years in hundreds of different places for many many reasons. Its amusing that Western society is just about the only one who demonizes tattoos and sees them as taboo, whereas the rest of the world in fact views them quite differently.
ALSO, assuming that women with tattoos are “easy to conquer sexually with minimal effort” is not only complete bullshit, but extremely enraging. What you do with your skin does not determine your sexual preferences. So assuming that women with tattoos are “loose, easy and likely diseased” makes you the most idiotic person on the planet. That’s not old fashioned, that’s just moronic.
I could go on and on about this. The fact that someone else thinks they have ANY right to dictate what is attractive or right about another persons body is beyond wrong. This guy is clearly has some serious issues regarding women, and thats really sad to me because he came from one, and could possibly be a father to one some day.
We need feminism because there are actually people who agree with this mindset. There are people who believe they are right, and we need to stand up and tell them just how wrong they are.IS this a fucking joke? This is infuriating.

Edited to add: The quote from the documentary is referring to heterosexual men who meet women through online dating, and vice versa.
